Hey all
Happy Friday! The bottles are now on their way to you so I'm just giving a little update on that and also providing a few tips for you once you do receive your long-awaited package.
They're on the way
The orders were all released earlier this week and for all UK backers should be with you over the next few days. For international backers, they'll be with you over the next few weeks and looking forward to them making it to you!
There are still some people who haven't provided their address or paid for shipping and so this will inevitably cause delays in getting the bottles to you. If you haven't updated your details, or aren't sure if you have, please update those on Backerkit or get in touch and I can look into it for you. You may get email updates from the relevant courier as your bottles are on their way to you.
Plus if you haven't received your bottle when you think you should, please do let me know!
Using your Breakbottle
Few little pointers now your Breakbottles are on the way to you...
- 1. Give it a clean - I know you'll have waited long enough to take that first sip but just give it a quick clean before your first use as it's been a while since it's last bath
- 2. The tether may be a little stiff when it first comes out of the box and the lid may stick out a little bit. Just give it a little wiggle and loosen up and it should rest next to the bottle once it's been freed from being boxed up for so long
- 3. The lid is designed to automatically fall and sit below the chin whilst drinking so it stays out the way as per picture 3 below - getting hit in the face by a stray lid is on no ones agenda and there's no need to hold it out of the way
Remember to store your bottle 'broken' with the lid off (like in pic 2) so you get good air flow inside. It's the simple science that'll keep your bottle fresh.
Remember to post your pictures and videos on socials with a chance of getting a full refund too! We'll be keeping track of all our favourites and will share some of the best ones here too.
Thanks
Jonny
